Stephen Cook is a journalist and author with extensive experience in national newspapers and magazines, including 18 years at The Guardian.

 

His books include five novels and four

non-fiction titles. His recent memoir Nice Life, Dirty War, explores the first ten years of his life growing

up in colonial Kenya.
